B&B at Veitchly House
A warm welcome awaits all our guests when they stay at Veitchly. “Made very welcome. Loved to have stayed longer” and “Another visit to Lacock. Everything first class” - Mr & Mrs R from Bredbury.
B&B is offered in two bedrooms in the older end of the house which has its’ own staircase for sole use by our guests. The rooms are relatively separate, each being up a further three steps to either side of a small landing.They both have the usual facilities and also offer wireless connectivity.
The larger south facing bedroom has a super king sized bed and en-suite shower with WC and wash basin. It enjoys lovely views of our garden, Bowden Hill and the fields beyond. This can be converted to offer twin bedded accommodation. The television in this room has a built in DVD player.
The second bedroom, a double aspect room, has a king sized bed, The adjacent private bathroom has a bath with hand shower, WC and basin. This bedroom is normally only offered alongside the king size room - ideal for a family, or two couples booking as friends. The room has a TV and also benefits from wi-fi connectivity.
Breakfast is served in the dining room. We offer a choice of full English breakfast or a continental breakfast. All our ingredients are of high quality, using local produce whenever possible. Fresh fruit is always available with breakfast. Vegetarians can be easily catered for.
Guests are generally able to use the main sitting room as we have a separate sitting room. It is light and airy with views in all directions despite originally being three small rooms in one of the two cottages.
Veitchly House has half an acre of garden. Our guests are welcome to sit in it, enjoying the peace and quiet of our situation.
